The Vetting Process
Introduction
For brevity, verse numbers, except as references, are omitted since they distract from this investigation. Bible quotes are copied from a KJV tool and are written here in blue to distinguish them from comments. Sometimes only a portion of a verse is quoted to stress a point. Internet quotes are used where indicated. This analysis is about Man’s use of Free Moral Agency (FMA).
From the internet: FMA is the ability to make choices based on a sense of right and wrong, and to be held accountable for those actions.
Lucifer before Adam
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into
heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God… I will be like the most High. (Isa
14:12-14.)
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I
have set thee so: thou wast upon the Holy Mountain of God… Thou wast perfect in thy ways from
the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: (Ezek 28:13-19.)
Definition from Oxford Languages coup (pronounced koo): a sudden, violent, and unlawful
seizure of power from a government.
Both Isaiah and Ezekiel indicate Lucifer exercised FMA because he chose to stage a coup.
This is how pride, sin, and rebellion entered into God‘s Creation where He gave the angelic world
immortality and we know they were there from time immemorial, both the faithful and unfaithful.
